On Wednesday 1st March 2017, the fourth year students of the medical physics group visited Zakho General Hospital-Bidari in Zakho city. This visit was organized by the Physics Department, University of Zakho, in order that the students could observe how radiation safety is ensured by the hospital staff, during routine work. This visit allowed students to understand how the medical devices are used in practice, and provided the practical experience to underpin the theoretical knowledge that was taught during the academic year.
